Belchamp St. Paul Community Sports Hall

We are pleased to announce that the new community sports hall was completed in June, and officially opened on 1st July by Simon Milton of Ipswich Town Football Club. 

Outside of school hours, it is available for hire by members of the local community, in particular the plus sixteen age group.

It is very spacious inside, and there are showering, toilet and storage facilities.  Money is available for new equipment, and we would welcome your suggestions; we have already purchased carpet bowls equipment.  A short tennis course will be run during the winter months, and other possible uses are: aerobics, drama groups, badminton, coffee mornings, gymnastics club, cubs or brownies, and five-a-side football.

Current prices for hire are as follows:

1.    Hire of outdoor sports facilities 

          netball court                                          £5.00 per hour

          football pitch                                         £7.00 per hour

          field in general                                       £6.00 per hour

2.    Hire of playing field for non-

         sporting activities                             £8.00 per hour

3.    Hire of secure hard play area             £8.00 per hour

4a.   Hire of Sports Hall

         (commercial hourly rate)                    £18.00 per hour

4b.   Commercial event hire

         (e.g. theatrical performances)            £80.00

          - includes time for setting up and tidying

5a.    Hire of sports hall

         (hourly rate for private use)               £15.00
